If you think it’s easy being a DJ, your wrong it requires talent, time and dedication. Although many claim to be DJ’s they don’t truly have the knowledge and quality it takes to be the real thing, there is a handful of DJ’s who are genuine and should be proud to be called one. DJ Flaco is one of the DJ’s who has accomplished much in his career and has proven time after time he deserves to be called one of the best Latino DJ’s in Ohio.
At what age did you decide you wanted to be a DJ?
I was 12 years old
What inspired you to be a DJ?
My father used to take me to all the salsa concerts when I was a kid and I always used to hang around the Dj area. The Dj controlled the crowd in between the bands sets. I just thought it was cool!
What types of music did you play?
I am very open and appreciate good music, so I play it all from Latin to Rock
What has been your biggest gig so far?
All honesty I really don’t know, I have done so many but, I might have to say the 2007 NBA finals party! The place was full of celebs and the dance floor never saw an empty moment!
What’s your favorite track that you like to play?
All depends on the event. If it’s Latin I like to play “No Me Tires La Primera Piedra” just because it let’s the mature crowd know that us young people appreciate the classics. If it’s an English event anything by Michael Jackson works!
Other than Cleveland, what other cities or states have you performed in?
I have been fortunate enough to perform in many cities across the U.S including Orlando, Louisville, Dallas just to name a few. I have also played in Puerto Rico, Santo Domingo, Germany and Ill be performing in Africa this summer.

My hard drive has crashed in the middle of the highest peek of the night.
Do you have any regrets?
No regrets this way, I take it for what it is.
